Test Clear Urine Review: Reliable Powdered Synthetic Urine for a Drug Test
In this post, I will review Test Clear urine. It’s one of the best synthetic urine kits for passing a drug test.
I’m on medical marijuana and need to pass drug tests regularly. So, I use and test different synthetic urine products.
To quickly sum up my experience, this kit is good, but it has some downsides. I’ll tell you about those below.
I got this kit from the Test Clear website for $60.
I’ll unbox it, review it, and explain how to use it correctly for passing a drug test. There are several nuances you need to know.
Kit contents
First of all, I received my package the next day after purchasing. This is a plus for Test Clear.
The package was a plain brown box without any branding or information about the contents. It was discreet, so nobody could tell what was inside.
Let’s look into the contents.
The urine comes in powdered form. The instructions say to mix it with 50ml of water, but you can mix it with no more than 75ml. Here’s some explanation.
50ml will be enough for any drug test. Most drug tests require at least 30ml of urine. DOT drug tests require 45ml of urine. So, 75ml will be enough for one DOT drug test or two other drug tests.
If you need to use the urine two times, you can mix half of the urine powder with 35ml of water and use it. The mixing bottle has marks on it so you can measure the exact amount of water you need.
The bottle has a cylinder shape, which is unusual since other best synthetic urine brands include flat bottles. That’s not an issue.
I tested it by putting it in the crotch area, and the bottle fits there okay. However, if you use the stash leg belt, it will be less convenient. I’ll explain this in the cons section.
The bottle cap fits snugly, so you can be sure the contents will not spill in your pocket.
For heating, TestClear includes toe warmers in this kit. There are two warmers, so you can use them for two drug tests.
These warmers activate by contact with air and warm up within 15 minutes. They produce heat for up to 8 hours, which is convenient if you don’t know the exact time of your test.
These warmers have an adhesive side, so you can stick them to the bottle, and they will not fall off.
However, because the bottle is round and the toe warmers are flat and bend poorly, they don’t fit well around the bottle and tend to come off. Therefore, I recommend fixing the toe warmers with an elastic band.
The kit includes a temperature strip so you can check the urine temperature before submitting it. The strip comes separate from the bottle and has a sticky side, so you can attach it to the bottle when needed.
The instructions are clear and illustrated, showing what to do step by step. They even have phone support in case you need help or advice, which is great.

Let’s talk about what I didn’t like about this kit.
The cylinder shape of the bottle is okay, but it has some inconveniences.
First, due to its shape, the heater does not fit very tightly on the bottle. I recommend using an extra rubber band.
Next, if you use a stash leg belt to bring a urine bottle into the drug testing site, the cylindrical bottle will protrude more. It can rub against the other leg and be uncomfortable. On the other hand, if you hide the bottle in your underwear, it’s not a problem.
The temperature strip is different from the one displayed on the website in the product description. That’s not a con, just strange.
Lastly, the amount of urine. If you need to pass a drug test requiring 30ml of urine, then the amount is okay.
However, if your drug test requires 45ml, then you get the urine for just one use, which makes the kit overpriced.
In this case, for the same price per amount of urine, you can get better options like the Incognito Belt.
Does TestClear powdered urine work for drug tests?
Yes, it will work for any drug test, including Labcorp, hospital, and other lab tests.
TestClear powdered urine contains all the ingredients present in human urine and doesn’t contain any drug traces.
Natural urine parameters like pH, creatinine levels, and specific gravity are the same as human urine. So, TestClear powdered urine will pass the drug test and urine validity test.
Can TestClear powdered urine be detected?
No, let me explain. Here are the methods that can be used to detect synthetic urine:
LC-MS/MS Analysis of Endogenous Biomolecules
Liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) is a technique that separates and identifies molecules in a sample. Labs use this method to find specific natural biomolecules in urine, like amino acids and other small molecules. If these natural biomolecules are missing or appear in unusual amounts, it might indicate the sample is not real urine but synthetic.
Commercial Test Kits (e.g., Axiom Test True SU)
Commercial test kits check if a urine sample is synthetic by detecting certain chemicals added to synthetic urine to make it look real. These kits can give a quick indication if the urine is possibly fake.
The first method is very expensive and is used in rare cases.
It’s not done during regular drug tests.
If you know your urine will go through liquid chromatography analysis, it’s a terrible idea to use any synthetic urine, as the situation is serious.
In other cases, labs can use commercial test kits like Axiom Test True, UrineCheck, etc. TestClear powdered urine passes all these tests and cannot be detected because it doesn’t contain the ingredients these tests detect.
Is TestClear powdered urine actually real dehydrated urine?
It’s important to clarify that TestClear powdered urine isn’t dehydrated human urine. However, this doesn’t mean the quality is compromised.
It’s used to calibrate lab equipment, ensuring it contains all the necessary components to pass drug tests and urine validity tests confidently.
While it’s not actual dehydrated human urine, its formulation is good enough to meet strict testing requirements.
How to use TestClear powdered urine to pass a drug test
To use TestClear powdered urine for passing a drug test, follow these steps carefully. It takes about 5-10 minutes to prepare, so make sure you allocate enough time before your test.
Dissolve the Powder: Pour the powdered urine from the small vial into the larger 50 ml tube. Fill the tube to the top with clean, preferably bottled, water. Tap water might contain impurities that could affect the results.
Secure the Cap: Screw the blue cap onto the tube tightly. Make sure it’s secure. Turn the tube upside down to check for leaks.
Dissolve Completely: Shake the tube until the powder fully dissolves and you’re left with a solution that looks like real urine.
Attach Temperature Strip: Place the temperature strip on the front of the 50ml tube where you can easily read it.
Heat the Solution: Open the heater package, remove the paper from one heater, and stick it to the back of the tube, directly opposite the temperature strip. This will help bring the urine to a natural, body-like temperature.
Conceal the Tube: Before heading to the test, find a discreet place on your body to hide the tube. The crotch area is common because it helps maintain the temperature and is less likely to be noticed. Avoid pockets or any place you’ll be asked to empty or show during the test. Products like the Incognito Belt can offer more discreet solutions.
Enter the Testing Area: Keep calm as you enter. Any nervousness or fidgeting can draw unwanted attention.
Check Temperature: Once in the testing bathroom, carefully take out the tube and check the temperature strip. It should read between 90 °F and 100 °F (32 °C to 38 °C), which is the typical range for fresh urine.
Transfer the Urine: Steadily unscrew the cap and pour the contents into the drug testing cup. Be careful to avoid spilling or making noise.
Hide the Tube Again: Once transferred, immediately conceal the tube back in your hiding spot.
Submit the Sample: Hand over the cup to the drug test collector. If you’ve followed all the steps correctly and the temperature is within the required range, it should pass as a valid sample.
Practicing with water
It is recommended to practice using water before the actual test to get a feel for how the heating pad works. Take the tube on its own, go to the sink, and put in hot water, driving the temperature off the scale above 100 °F.
Gently blow on the liquid until the rainbow temperature indicator comes into the 90 °F to 99 °F range. This lets you see the rainbow indicator on the temperature strip and gives you experience with bringing the temperature down just in case the temperature rises above 100 degrees.
Test Clear urine vs Sub Solution
Both offer high-quality urine that will pass a drug test without detection.
Sub Solution also provides enough urine for two uses, but it’s the design of their bottle that stands out; it’s spill-proof with a convenient flip spout cap, which makes it easier to handle under the pressure of a testing environment.
However, Sub Solution doesn’t include heat pads. Instead, it has a heat activator powder, which is effective but perhaps not as convenient in the confines of a testing facility bathroom.
You might need to purchase heat pads separately or rely on body heat to maintain the right temperature.
Considering Sub Solution’s price of $90, I find myself leaning towards Test Clear urine for its simplicity and cost-effectiveness.
It seems to offer what most people need without the additional frills and costs.
Test Clear urine vs Quick Luck
Quick Luck a premixed synthetic urine that provides enough urine for two uses, much like the Incognito Belt, but with a significant difference: once you use half, you need to freeze the remainder to prevent contamination, which could be a bit of a hassle for some.
The Quick Luck bottle is notably user-friendly, equipped with a flip spout cap that’s incredibly convenient when you’re in a potentially stressful situation like a drug testing bathroom.
Both Quick Luck and Test Clear urine come with heating pads to help maintain the urine’s temperature, but Quick Luck takes it a step further by including heat activator powder.
This powder is a game-changer, heating up the urine in seconds and potentially saving you a lot of stress as you prepare for the test.
Once it’s at the right temperature, you can use the heating pad to keep it there.
At $105, Quick Luck’s price point is attractive, especially when you consider that it’s designed for two uses.
So, if you foresee needing synthetic urine more than once, Quick Luck seems to offer good value for your money.

Conclusion
I recommend the TestClear powdered urine kit as a reliable solution for those on a budget.
However, it’s not very economical considering the amount of urine you get. It does the job but has some downsides and requires preparation.
If you are looking for an all-inclusive solution, use the Incognito Belt or Quick Luck.
